Crypto Funds See Largest Weekly Inflow Since October 2025
Crypto funds saw their largest weekly inflow since October 2025, according to Bank of America's fund-flow report. The report tracked $3.2 billion in net inflows into crypto funds for the week ending August 22, a sharp reversal from the prior week's $392 million outflows.
The bulk of the inflows came through US-listed spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), with Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs pulling in roughly $2.6 billion combined. The largest single-day inflow was on August 20, when Bitcoin-ETFs attracted $606.3 million.
The rally in crypto prices, particularly Bitcoin's 22.7% gain over the flow week, is seen as a key driver of the inflows. The U.S. Treasury's expansion of its long-term bond buyback program and changing Treasury yields also contributed to the risk-on turn across markets.
