Crypto Funds See Sustained Inflows Despite Price Volatility Across Assets
Four separate crypto funds posted net inflows on August 26, despite price fluctuations across their respective assets. Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs extended their seven-day streak of inflows, while XRP and Solana funds also saw significant money flow in.
The largest daily net inflow was recorded by Ethereum's Grayscale product at $70.33 million, surpassing the $54 billion cumulative net inflow mark for Bitcoin's spot ETFs. This is a stark contrast to some individual assets experiencing price drops, with XRP falling 2.2% intraday.
Notably, Solana's price jumped more than 4% during trading hours, while its ETF saw a daily net inflow of $9.14 million, marking the seventh consecutive day for Solana funds to experience inflows. Meanwhile, Mastercard is sponsoring the XRP Ledger Hackathon ahead of the Ripple Swell event.
These trends suggest that investors may be shifting their focus towards regulated fund exposure over holding coins directly, especially as prices move in different directions across various assets.
