Crypto Hype Reaches Final Stretch: Ethereum and XRP Prices Defy ETF Flows Reversal
Ethereum's price continued to climb despite a sharp change in momentum after an extended run of positive flows. U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs recorded $48.08 million in net outflows, ending a 12-day winning streak that had attracted approximately $1.62 billion. This marks the end of BlackRock's ETHA losing $53.4 million and Fidelity's FETH shedding $26.2 million.
Ethereum's price increased by 4.38% to $2,506.74 over the latest 24-hour period. Grayscale's ETHE recorded $23.5 million in outflows, but BlackRock's staked ETHB offset part of those withdrawals with $52.9 million entering the fund.
XRP experienced a similar ETF reset, with U.S. spot XRP ETFs posting $7.2 million in net outflows, ending an 11-session inflow streak that had generated approximately $170 million. The token rose by 6.09% to $1.44 despite the withdrawal coming almost entirely from Bitwise.
