Crypto Industry Poll: Majority of Americans Would Feel Protected by Congressional Priority Bill

A recent poll commissioned by Coinbase found that more than half of Americans would feel protected if Congress passes the crypto industry's top legislative priority. The poll, conducted by Focaldata, also showed that 36% of Americans - with higher percentages among likely Democratic and Republican voters - would be more likely to vote for a candidate who supports the bill overhauling regulation of the industry.

The findings come as congressional Democrats circulate other polling on primary voters' negative perceptions of crypto. Pollster John Anzalone noted that while there may not be enough intensity in a Democratic primary on this issue, there is enough intensity in a general election to make a difference.
