Crypto Industry Sees Growing Recognition from Washington
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse echoed President Donald Trump's optimistic view on cryptocurrency, stating that crypto is no longer a fringe industry.
After attending a White House gathering alongside other crypto executives, including Coinbase's Brian Armstrong and Robinhood's Vlad Tenev, Garlinghouse emphasized the growing influence of digital assets in American politics.
Citing an estimate of nearly 67 million American crypto holders, Garlinghouse noted that Washington recognizes the importance of catering to crypto voters.
The White House meeting also highlighted the administration's commitment to passing the CLARITY Act, a bill aimed at providing clarity for digital asset regulation. Coinbase's Armstrong laid out a bullish three-step plan on X, predicting a strong bipartisan vote on September 15 and potentially marking the start of the next crypto bull run.
