Crypto Industry Sees Renewed Optimism as Revised Clarity Act Gains Momentum

Share

The crypto industry is seeing a renewed sense of optimism as Senate Republicans released a revised Clarity Act, their 'last, best and final offer', ahead of Tuesday's cloture vote.

The bill includes tougher ethics rules that President Trump previously resisted, including divestment or blind trusts for officials who have significant financial interests in digital assets. The changes also extend state AG enforcement and remove the sunset date from earlier language.

Industry leaders are cautiously optimistic about the revised bill, with Galaxy's Alex Thorn raising his 2026 passage odds from 10% to 25%. However, the tight calendar remains a hurdle for the bill's success.
