Crypto Industry's Stand With Crypto Group Endorses 32 House Incumbents
The cryptocurrency industry is investing heavily in the US midterms, and a Coinbase-backed group is taking its advocacy efforts to the next level.
Stand With Crypto, launched by Coinbase in 2023, has endorsed 32 House incumbents who supported the Clarity Act when it passed the House last year. The legislation aims to set federal rules for digital assets and divide oversight between regulators, but remains stalled in the Senate.
The endorsements include Republicans Tom Emmer, Bill Huizenga, Juan Ciscomani, and Brian Fitzpatrick, as well as Democrats Ritchie Torres and Josh Gottheimer. Stand With Crypto plans to announce its Senate endorsements closer to election day.
Stand With Crypto's 2024 campaign focuses on proving that crypto voters exist as a political constituency, while the 2026 effort aims to show they can influence close races. The group has already made an initial six House endorsements in March and now has more than 3 million registered US advocates.
