Crypto Investors Build Positions Amidst Market Volatility
Large investors in Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (Ethereum), and XRP are accumulating their positions at current prices, which are close to or below the realised price. This phenomenon is tracked by CryptoQuant, and it reduces selling pressure on these markets.
This situation should not be mistaken for a 'lull' in market activity, as trading volumes remain weak and market depth is limited. Tesseract Group warns that the decline in volatility is a reason to exercise caution regarding leverage.
Interestingly, the hack of Coldcard hardware wallets has led to a significant increase in transfers among small Bitcoin holders. According to CryptoQuant, this activity has reached levels not seen since 2018. K33 Research points out that increased activity on the Bitcoin network often coincides with a reversal in BTC price.
A group of developers, known as the Bitcoin Red Team, used advanced AI models to identify potential security issues across various projects related to Bitcoin. In just one day, they found 4,962 issues, including 85 classified as critical risk and 635 as high risk.
