Crypto Majors Hold Ground as Prices Consolidate Near Recent Highs
Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ripple (XRP) have maintained their positive outlook despite last week's gains. BTC is holding steady near $80,000 while ETH and XRP are showing resilience in defending key support zones.
The price action of these top three cryptocurrencies suggests consolidation or a mild pullback before an upside move. BTC has formed a bullish near-term bias as its price holds above the 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), clustered between roughly $70,000 and $72,700.
For Ethereum, initial support aligns with the nearby horizontal level at $2,500, ahead of the 50-day EMA around $2,192 and the 200-day EMA close to $2,183. The next notable resistance is the key $2,550 mark, ahead of the psychological $3,000 barrier.
XRP has defended its key support zone near $1.353, with the long-term 200-day EMA rising and reinforcing an underlying uptrend structure. Bulls face the next key hurdle at the horizontal resistance around $1.900, and a sustained break above this level would reopen the path toward higher highs within the prevailing daily uptrend.
