Crypto Market Climbs to $2.82 Trillion, Highest Level Since January

The total cryptocurrency market capitalization has surpassed $2.82 trillion, marking its highest level in seven months since January 2026.

This surge comes after a prolonged decline from an all-time high of over $4.27 trillion in October 2025.

Bitcoin's dominance has remained relatively stable at around 57-59%, indicating that money is flowing into altcoins alongside the flagship asset.

Major altcoins such as ZEC, XRP, DOGE, and ADA have posted significant gains, with ZEC exceeding a year-to-date performance of 65% through August.
