Crypto Market Correction: Is This Just a Bump Before the Next Bull Run?
Bitcoin (BTC) and other major cryptocurrencies like Ethereum (ETH) and XRP have been experiencing a decline in value over the past week, but experts say this could be just a correction before the next leg up.
The current prices for Bitcoin are below $77,000, with a loss of more than 4% since the beginning of the week. Ethereum has fallen by approximately 2.5%, while XRP is down around 5%. Despite these losses, Bitcoin's technical structure remains intact due to its position above several key moving averages.
The 50-day and 200-day exponential moving averages for Bitcoin are closely aligned at $72,869 and $72,935 respectively. This support zone could attract buyers if the price extends its pullback. However, a break below this area would shift attention to the 100-day EMA near $70,820.
Experts suggest that any recovery in Bitcoin's price may unfold gradually rather than through an aggressive breakout. A rebound from current levels could see the next significant resistance near $85,000. This horizontal barrier could attract profit-taking and test the strength of bullish demand.
