Crypto Market Corrects Amid Macro Uncertainty
The cryptocurrency market has corrected on Friday, as investors assess macro uncertainty and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Bitcoin (BTC) is trading below $64,000, down from its weekly high of $65,745.
Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple (XRP) are also experiencing selling pressure, with ETH below $1,900 and XRP between $1.05-$1.10. Despite renewed ETF inflows, the market remains cautious.
The Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged on Wednesday, but three officials dissented in favor of a 25 basis point hike. Institutional investors appear to be ignoring macro uncertainty, with spot Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) seeing increased inflows this week.
