Crypto Market Craters $80 Billion as BTC Dumps to $63K
The cryptocurrency market has lost $80 billion in value as Bitcoin plummeted to $63K on July 28. This decline follows a violent rejection of BTC's attempt to break through its monthly peak at $67,000.
After rallying on Monday to a multi-day high following the weekend de-escalation news on the war front, Bitcoin was driven south by almost three grand in hours.
Ethereum and other altcoins have also joined the painful ride, with ETH dropping below $1,900. The biggest loser today is Audiera's BEAT, which has plummeted 25% to $2.74.
The cumulative market cap of all crypto assets has dropped from $2.330 trillion to $2.250 trillion as of now.
