Crypto Market Downturn: Bitcoin Plunges Below $64,000
The crypto market is experiencing a downturn, with Bitcoin (BTC) trading at its weakest in nearly a week. The price of BTC has dropped below $64,000, down 2.1% over the past 24 hours.
Other digital assets are also seeing declines, including Ethereum's ether (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP, which have fallen roughly the same amount as BTC. Zcash (ZEC) has dropped more than 3% to below $500.
Crypto exchange Coinbase (COIN) and custodian BitGo (BTGO) are also seeing declines, dropping 2.7% through the session. Stablecoin issuer Circle (CRCL) is down 1.3%, while Bitcoin treasury firm Strategy (MSTR) and Ethereum treasury Bitmine (BMNR) have slipped 3%-4%.
Trump Media's bitcoin holdings have shrunk to 9,477 BTC, worth $557.1 million at the end of June, down from 9,542 BTC valued at $836.4 million at the end of 2025.
