Crypto Market on High Alert as Six Key Reports Hit in Quick Succession
The crypto market is gearing up for one of its busiest data stretches in months, with six key US economic reports set to impact Bitcoin's price.
The reports include July Existing Home Sales on Tuesday, OPEC Monthly Report on Wednesday, July CPI Inflation also on Wednesday, July PPI Inflation on Thursday, July Retail Sales on Friday, and August Michigan Consumer Sentiment also on Friday.
CPI is expected to be the biggest catalyst for the crypto market this week, with a cooler-than-expected inflation print potentially boosting risk assets like Bitcoin. Traders read a lower CPI reading as room for the Fed to cut rates sooner, which could support a Bitcoin push toward resistance near $66,000-$67,000.
The PPI report follows on Thursday and tracks wholesale costs before they reach consumers, often warning of an upcoming inflation rise if it's rising. Retail sales close out the week and consumer sentiment figures land the same day, painting a fuller picture of how ordinary households are handling this economy.
