Crypto Market Pauses: BTC Eyes 50-Day EMA Breakout, ETH Consolidates
The cryptocurrency market has paused following last week's recovery, but technical indicators suggest that key assets may be poised for a breakout. Bitcoin (BTC) is approaching its 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA), currently at $64,916.
While BTC holds below the 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day EMAs, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) hovers around the neutral 50 line. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) remains in negative territory, suggesting weak momentum.
Ethereum (ETH), on the other hand, continues to consolidate between its 50-day and 100-day EMAs, with prices trading at $1,903. This neutral stance suggests nearby dip-buying interest but remains capped beneath the 100-day EMA.
Ripple (XRP) holds above key support, despite holding below the 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day EMAs. The RSI signals only modest downside momentum, while the MACD line is marginally below zero and flattening.
