Crypto Market Retreats as Bitcoin Stalls Near $65K
The crypto market has retreated to levels seen at the start of the week, hovering near $2.17 trillion in capitalization after failing to sustain a rally.
The market remains cautious, trading just above its 50-day moving average, which has served as support since July's second half.
Among popular coins, Uniswap (+8.7%), Filecoin (+4.6%), and VeChain (+4.4%) led the gains over the last day, with Uniswap boasting a 60% rise over the past 30 days.
Cosmos (-4.2%), Zcash (-3.4%), and Basic Attention Token (-3%) took the opposite end of the spectrum, with Cosmos hitting a multi-year low of $1.23 after losing 18% in value this month.
Bitcoin found temporary support at $65K but retreated to $64K as it continues to trade within a narrow range, with analysts warning of a prolonged consolidation following a decline towards the 200-week moving average.
