Crypto Market Sees $128M Inflows, CLARITY Act Delayed, and SecondFi Shutdown
The crypto market saw significant developments as spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $128.69 million in fresh inflows, while the CLARITY Act in the US was delayed until September. SecondFi shut down after a Cardano hack resulted in the theft of approximately $2.4 million from hundreds of user wallets.
The Bitcoin Spot ETF with the highest net inflow yesterday was BlackRock's IBIT, with a daily net inflow of $128.33 million. The total historical net inflow of IBIT currently stands at $61.09 billion. Morgan Stanley's ETF MSBT saw a daily net inflow of $14.94 million and a total historical net inflow of $429.07 million.
The US Senate will consider the CLARITY Act in September after lawmakers failed to reach an agreement before the August recess. The bill aims to establish clearer regulatory oversight for digital assets by defining the responsibilities of agencies such as the SEC and CFTC.
