Crypto Market Sees $78.7 Million in Liquidations Over Past 24 Hours

A significant wave of liquidations swept through the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours, according to data from Coinglass and Bitget.

Total liquidations reached $78.6994 million, with long positions totaling $42.6463 million and short positions accounting for $36.053 million.

The majority of these liquidations were in Bitcoin and Ethereum, with Bitcoin long positions reaching $3.3229 million and Bitcoin short positions at $4.2218 million. Meanwhile, Ethereum long positions totaled $2.9665 million and short positions reached $4.3047 million.
