Crypto Market Sees Broad Rally, With Some Tokens Rising by Over 100% in a Week
The crypto market has continued its broad rally over the past week, with many tokens closing in the green. However, not all assets have risen equally, and some have even bucked the trend by falling.
According to data from CoinGecko, the top 100 tokens can be categorized into three tiers based on their performance: Red List, Surging Tier, and Black List.
The Surging Tier is dominated by narrative-driven assets, with Bitcoin ecosystem narratives, Meme sentiment, and exchange-affiliated tokens pushing higher. STX (Stacks) led the pack, gaining 121.2% in a week, followed closely by CASHCAT (Cash Cat) at 102.2%, ENA (Ethena) at 74.4%, and PENGU (Pudgy Penguins) at 59.3%. ZEC (Zcash) also gained 53.6%.
The Steady Followers Tier, which includes fundamental assets and infrastructure tokens, saw gains of between 10% to 20%. LDO (Lido DAO), WLD (Worldcoin), MORPHO, LINEA, NEAR (NEAR Protocol), HBAR (Hedera), ASTER, ETHFI (Ether.fi), and BNB were among the notable gainers.
However, a handful of tokens defied the trend and fell due to cooling project-specific narratives or short-term capital outflows. JELLYJELLY (Jelly-My-Jelly) lost 3.5% in a week, while WLFI (World Liberty Financial) experienced no change.
