Crypto Market Sees Early Signs of Recovery with 22% Increase
The cryptocurrency market has shown early signs of recovery after posting a cumulative increase of nearly 22% during the last week of August 2026.
This price rally drove major assets such as Ethereum and Bitcoin to multi-month highs, but key metrics covering liquidity, institutional flows, and U.S. trading premium reflect a landscape that still lacks definitive technical confirmation.
Circulating liquidity has begun to moderate its outflows with stablecoin transfers to exchanges starting to slow down. According to CW8900, the reduction in withdrawals suggests that the net flow could shift trend if deposit rates maintain their current momentum.
Institutional investor activity also reflected isolated spikes during the August 24 session, with Bitcoin spot ETFs recording net inflows of $337.56 million and Ethereum-based products adding $115.57 million. Solana spot funds absorbed $33.49 million in a single day, marking their largest daily inflow since December 15, 2025.
