Crypto Market Sees Mixed Results with DeXe Leading the Pack
The crypto market experienced a mixed day, with some small coins rising sharply while others fell hard. DeXe (DEXE) led the pack with a massive 24-hour price spike of 159.7%, reaching $5.24. However, this jump is likely due to a bounce back from an earlier crash, rather than fresh demand.
On July 21, wallets linked to the DeXe team sent nearly $6.2 million worth of DEXE to Binance, triggering heavy selling and an 80% price drop. Today's price increase is largely due to traders buying into an oversold coin at a steep discount.
The crypto market's wider picture shows the global market cap sitting near $2.28 trillion, down about 1.1% in the past 24 hours. Bitcoin traded near $64,000, down about 1.3% in the last day, while its market dominance held above 56%. Stablecoin supply remained around $303 billion, pointing to steady on-chain settlement demand.
