Crypto Market Sees Moderate Gains as Stablecoin Payments Take Center Stage
The crypto market started the day in a moderately positive mood, with Bitcoin consolidating near $79,815 and Ethereum holding around $2,498. The highlight of the day was the announcement by Upbit operator Dunamu that it had reached an agreement with Visa to develop stablecoin payments.
OneKey reported that it was able to replicate a transaction substitution attack in the Ethereum Ledger app, which could have allowed attackers to substitute transactions without the user's knowledge. However, Ledger emphasized that the issue was fixed in version 1.22.3 of the Ethereum app and users need to update their apps via Ledger Live.
The largest cryptocurrencies maintained growth, with Bitcoin increasing by 1.28% and Ethereum adding only 0.14%. Most coins from the top 25 ended the day in the green, while some notable moves included Solana at +5.48%, Monero at +2.73%, Gram at +1.95%, and Litecoin at -0.94%.
