Crypto Market Sees Sharp Gains in PONS and ARB Amid Volatility
The cryptocurrency market had a volatile week in September as it kicked off after a summer lull. Bitcoin briefly reclaimed $80,000 before pulling back to around $77,000 due to factors such as ETF flows and FUD around U.S. jobs data, inflation, and Fed policy.
Altcoins showed mixed performance, but several smaller tokens experienced sharp rallies, including PONS and ARB, which are part of the Robinhood Chain ecosystem.
Pons [PONS] led the gainers with a 192% price surge, reaching an all-time high of $0.97. The token's chart showed strong FOMO-driven momentum, with back-to-back green candlesticks indicating that buyers dominated the market and selling pressure was low.
Arbitrum [ARB] followed closely behind PONS with a 140% gain, but technical indicators suggested a potentially corrective wave before breaking resistance at $0.20.
