Crypto Market Stagnant as Solana Sees Record ETF Inflows
The crypto market is experiencing a relatively quiet day on August 15, with only a few altcoins showing significant price movements. Solana (SOL) is down by 0.86% despite its ETFs recording the highest inflows in the week between August 10 and August 15, with $10.26 million in new investments.
The top ten largest cryptos by market cap are experiencing minimal price changes, ranging from -1% to +1%. This is consistent with typical weekend trading volumes, which tend to be lower due to reduced investor activity. Bitcoin (BTC) has dropped to $62,000 amid $389 million in outflows from BTC ETFs.
Chainlink (LINK) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) are bucking the trend, with LINK up 5% and SHIB up 2%. The increased activity in these altcoins is attributed to growing optimism among traders, who believe that their networks are experiencing a resurgence in activity.
