Crypto Market Stalls Ahead of US Inflation Data Release
The crypto market is experiencing a range-bound day on August 10, as Bitcoin and Ethereum struggle to gain traction. While BTC trades between $64,700 and $65,300, ETH defends its support at $1,900.
However, Solana has bucked the trend and reached a two-week high of $77, ahead of the US inflation data release on August 12. The upcoming CPI print is expected to have an impact on interest rates, with analysts predicting a drop in inflation from 3.5% in June 2026 to 3.4% in July 2026.
Easing geopolitical tensions are also contributing to the market's stability, as investors await the US and Iran's negotiation talks progress. Institutional demand is also on the rise, with Ethereum ETFs posting $244 million in inflows between August 3 and August 7, the highest since April 2026.
