Crypto Market Stuck in Neutral Amid Equity Euphoria
The cryptocurrency market has shown muted enthusiasm amidst the recent surge in equity markets. The Nasdaq Composite surged 2.6% on Tuesday, while South Korea's KOSPI and Japan's Nikkei 225 jumped 3.8% and 3.6%, respectively.
Despite the overall increase in crypto market capitalization of around 0.4% in the past 24 hours, trading volumes dipped by 1%. Bitcoin (BTC) traded between $64,467 and $63,558 during this period, with a current price of $64,035.82.
The regulatory narrative and safety concerns have limited crypto market sentiment. The uncertainty surrounding the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act has weighed on the market, as well as the recent Bitcoin Coldcard exploit, which resulted in potential losses exceeding $100 million.
