Crypto Market to See Over $705 Million in Token Unlocks by End of August
The cryptocurrency market is set to see several significant token unlocks in the final week of August 2026, with over $705 million worth of tokens being released into circulation.
Three major projects - Humanity (H), Huma Finance (HUMA), and Plasma (XPL) - will be unlocking previously restricted tokens. This is expected to impact liquidity, price volatility, and overall investor sentiment in the market.
The largest unlock event is scheduled for August 26, when Huma Finance will release 458.75 million HUMA tokens worth $10.07 million. This accounts for 16.7% of the released supply and will be split three ways among investors, the team and advisors, and the protocol treasury.
On August 25, Humanity will unlock 266.47 million H tokens worth $18.3 million, accounting for 7.92% of the released supply. The team will split this release six ways, with early contributors receiving 79.17 million H.
