Crypto Market Update: Bitcoin Seeks Breakout, Ethereum Tests $2,500
Bitcoin has been leading the charge in the cryptocurrency market, trading near $80,507 after breaking above its previous consolidation range of $77,000-$78,000. The move pushed BTC toward a recent high of $81,255, with buyers still controlling the short-term trend despite signs of overheating.
The 20 EMA sits at $77,536, while the 50 EMA stands at $73,638. Bitcoin's momentum has been unusually strong, but this also warns that it may need to pause. A break above $81,255 could send BTC toward $82,500 and potentially $84,000.
Conversely, rejection could push Bitcoin toward $80,000 first. A deeper decline could then test the $77,536 area.
