Crypto Market Update: Bitcoin Spot ETFs Record USD 46.65 Million in Net Outflows
The cryptocurrency market saw significant developments in recent days, including Bitcoin spot ETFs recording USD 46.65 million in daily net outflows and Germany preparing a 25% flat tax on crypto gains from 2028.
According to SoSoValue, the total net asset value of Bitcoin Spot ETFs is USD 99.52 billion, with an ETF net asset ratio of 6.31%. Grayscale's GBTC led withdrawals with USD 65.51 million in daily net outflows, while Bitwise's ETF BITB and BlackRock's ETF IBIT recorded the highest net inflows.
Germany is reportedly preparing a 25% flat tax on crypto gains from 2028, potentially ending the country's long-standing exemption for Bitcoin and other digital assets held for more than one year. The proposed rules would apply to qualifying assets acquired after January 1, 2027, while the tax itself would take effect in 2028.
India's Financial Intelligence Unit has issued non-compliance notices to 15 crypto service providers, including Weex and DigiFinex, for operating without meeting the country's anti-money laundering (AML) requirements. Authorities also ordered action against their apps and URLs.
