Crypto Markets: BTC Consolidates, ETH Faces Hurdle, XRP Nears Key Support
Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) are showing some resilience despite last week's decline, while Ripple (XRP) is hovering near a crucial support level. BTC has consolidated around $77,600 after falling nearly 5% in the previous week, with its 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at $73,376 providing immediate support.
Ethereum is approaching a key resistance zone at $2,550, which could hinder its near-term advance. The cryptocurrency remains above its clustered moving averages, suggesting an underlying bid and constructive momentum.
Ripple, meanwhile, trades near its 200-day EMA around $1.354, making this support level crucial for its near-term outlook. Momentum has normalized, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) hovering near 53 and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) staying slightly negative.
