Crypto Markets Consolidate Amid Geopolitical Tensions
Crypto markets are experiencing broad consolidation after an uptrend stalled due to renewed geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. Bitcoin (BTC) is trading at $78,324, above key support levels as bulls struggle to extend gains.
Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple (XRP) are mirroring Bitcoin's neutral-to-bullish outlook, trading above their respective support levels of $2,400 and $1.35.
The Fear & Greed Index holds at 69, suggesting investor greed in the face of last month's fear. Institutional demand persists as evidenced by strong ETF inflows: BTC spot Exchange-Traded Funds saw $217 million in inflows on Monday, while Ethereum spot ETFs printed an extended bullish streak with $88 million in inflows.
According to technical analysis, Bitcoin maintains a sideways action above its main Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs) and keeps a clear bullish near-term bias. However, Ethereum and XRP face a capped upside as they hold above key support levels but struggle to break through overhead resistance.
