Crypto Markets in Limbo: XRP Stuck in Triangle Pattern, GRAM Drops Amid Telegram Removal
Ripple's XRP price has been stuck in a symmetrical triangle pattern on its daily chart, unable to break above or below the converging trendlines. Despite trading above the rising support trend line at $1.0510, it remains capped within a broader corrective structure.
The 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) at $1.1194 has reinforced the downward resistance trend line at $1.1123, suggesting that XRP's price is trapped in this pattern. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) around 39 and a negative MACD reading hint at lingering downside pressure rather than an immediate recovery.
Meanwhile, Stellar's XLM price has been holding below the 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day EMAs clustered between $0.183 and $0.195, indicating a bearish near-term bias. The pair is also trading beneath the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement at $0.173 and the nearby horizontal barrier at $0.177.
On the other hand, the Telegram token GRAM has been declining as iOS removes Telegram from its App Store, with a 3% drop to $1.29 on Tuesday. From a technical perspective, GRAM shows a contracting price trend forming a falling wedge pattern on the daily chart, with an RSI at around 37 indicating firm bearish momentum.
