Crypto Markets Open on Shaky Ground as Sellers Maintain Upper Hand
Crypto markets started the day on shaky ground as most major digital assets declined in value. The selling pressure was evident across the board, with no major coin escaping the downturn.
Bitcoin took a hit of 1.69% to dip below $77,000, setting a cautious tone for the wider market. Ethereum and XRP followed suit, declining by similar percentages to $2,474.10 and $1.40 respectively.
Solana was among the hardest-hit tokens, falling 1.76% to $100.69, while Cardano posted the steepest loss of the group at 2.19%. Dogecoin and Avalanche also declined by smaller margins to $0.08 and $7.46 respectively.
However, BNB proved relatively resilient, inching lower by just 0.29% to $718.16. This suggests that some degree of demand may still be holding firm in the market.
