Crypto Markets Plummet Across the Board in Evening Session

Crypto markets plunged in the evening session, with all major assets finishing in the red. Bitcoin declined by 2.01% to $79,637.90, while Ethereum fell by 2.18% to $2,453.12.

Avalanche also dropped 2.13% to $7.36, similar to the major coins. Solana declined by 2.32% to $101.57, extending its retreat below the $110 level.

BNB was a relative outperformer among the tracked coins, falling only 1.05% to $717.45. However, it was XRP that suffered the steepest losses, plummeting by 3.80% to $1.40.

The mid-tier and meme coin segments were particularly hard hit, with Dogecoin declining by 3.62% to $0.08 and Cardano dropping by 4.38% to $0.21.
