Crypto Markets Plummet in Evening Session Amid Widespread Selling Pressure
Crypto markets saw a tumultuous evening session on Wednesday, marked by widespread selling pressure that battered major digital assets.
The downturn was led by Bitcoin's 3.32% drop to $64,294.18, which sent sentiment lower across the board as traders retreated from risk assets.
Ethereum followed suit with a 2.94% decline to $1,871.60, while XRP plummeted 3.81% to $1.10, exacerbating an already difficult session for holders of leading tokens.
Solana and Cardano suffered the steepest losses, plummeting 4.74% to $74.41 and 4.99% to $0.16 respectively, making them the worst performers among the eight major coins tracked that evening.
