Crypto Markets Revive as Bitcoin Pushes Above $80,000
The crypto markets are reviving after months of consolidation, with Bitcoin pushing above $80,000 and forming a local high of $82,000. The Ethereum price has also reclaimed $2500, while more than $132 billion has been added to the crypto market cap in the past 24 hours.
The recent move by Bitcoin is encouraging, but it's not enough to confirm the beginning of a new bull market. According to CryptoRank, there are seven key signals that will determine whether this recovery becomes a genuine bull market or just a temporary rally.
One of these signals is Bitcoin reclaiming a critical technical zone around $77,500. If the price holds above this level, it could confirm the current rally. However, if it fails to do so, investors may conclude that the rally is running out of fuel and expose the market to support around $72,000.
Another signal is the performance of Ethereum, which has been showing improving momentum. The ETH/BTC ratio is worth watching, as a stronger Ethereum could be a sign of improving risk appetite across the markets.
