Crypto Markets See Mixed Fortunes as BTC Consolidates, XRP Struggles
Crypto markets are experiencing a mixed bag of fortunes, with Bitcoin and Uniswap seeing gains while XRP struggles to find its footing.
Bitcoin (BTC) has been consolidating around $78,000, with major moving averages providing support and steady capital inflows absorbing some selling pressure. This stability suggests that the Crypto King's recent rally above $81,000 may be cooling down, but downside risks remain limited.
XRP, on the other hand, is under pressure as ETF inflows offset derivatives weakness. The remittance token has been broadly constrained since its rally to $1.70 on August 17, with the $1.35 level serving as critical support. A possible rebound may be on the horizon, but for now, XRP remains neutral-to-bullish.
Uniswap (UNI), however, is a different story altogether. The decentralized exchange native token has marked four straight days of gains, underpinning a robust technical structure. With its price trading at $5.84 and up more than 10% on Tuesday, a breakout above $6.00 could affirm bullish control.
