Crypto Markets Soar on Institutional Demand and Regulatory Support
Crypto markets ended the day firmly higher, but the real story behind this move was not just risk-on momentum. Bitcoin's price rose to $91,850, a gain of 2.1%, while Ethereum surged by 2.4% to reach $3,215.
The influx of institutional demand played a significant role in this surge, with spot ETFs taking in $1.1 billion and $420 million respectively - their strongest single-day inflows since July.
This boost helped push the total crypto market capitalization to $2.92 trillion, briefly reclaiming the $3 trillion mark earlier in the session.
Solana was the standout performer among major assets, rising 4.8% to $148 following the activation of Firedancer, which should improve throughput and latency.
