Crypto Markets Steady After Recent Falls
Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Ripple (XRP) stabilized on Monday after falling in the previous week. Bitcoin's price dipped below the key support zone, trading around $63,265 with a bearish near-term tone.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) for BTC is at 46, leaning slightly bearish, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) stays below zero with a negative reading. The dense overhead EMA stack suggests rallies remain corrective.
Ethereum's price consolidated between the 50-day and 100-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs), trading at $1,870 with the pair capped below the 100-day and 200-day EMAs. This keeps the broader bias mildly bearish despite holding above the 50-day EMA.
Ripple's price traded near $1.07 after falling 2.35% last week, with weakening momentum indicators showing subdued upside momentum and a market vulnerable to further softening while these overhead EMAs are not reclaimed.
