Crypto Markets Steady Ahead of Fed Rate Decision

Crypto markets steadied on July 27 as investors awaited the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision. Bitcoin rose 0.3% to $64,849.77, while Ethereum gained 1.6% to $1,944.54 and Solana added 0.7% to $75.84.

The improved risk appetite was driven by lower oil prices and a de-escalation of U.S.-Iran tensions, which eased inflation fears. Traders also pared downside hedges ahead of the Federal Reserve meeting.

Bitcoin ETF flows had been positive in July after significant losses in June, but there were over $465 million in outflows during the final two days of last week, demonstrating that institutional adoption remains fragile.
