Crypto Millionaires Reach Record Numbers Amid Bitcoin's Decline
The number of crypto millionaires worldwide has reached 135,694, according to Henley & Partners' Crypto Wealth Report 2026. Each of these individuals holds $1 million or more in digital assets, with a total market value of $2.6 trillion.
Bitcoin makes up the largest share of this wealth, accounting for $1.6 trillion of the total. However, its price has fallen to about 38% below its October 2025 peak, recovering from a mid-year slump when it fell under 50%.
The report also found that there are now 290 centi-millionaires holding $100 million or more in crypto assets, and 23 billionaires. The majority of these individuals hold their wealth in bitcoin, with nine out of the top ten billionaires owning at least some amount of the cryptocurrency.
