Crypto Payments Fuel Access to Restricted Chinese AI Models on WorldClaw

Share

A Hong Kong-based AI venture backed by World Liberty Financial is offering access to Chinese models through cryptocurrency payments, raising concerns about national security and data protection.

The platform, called WorldClaw, accepts tokens from World Liberty's stablecoin, including USD1. It gives users access to 90 AI models, with 43 coming from Alibaba, Baidu, Z.ai, and other Chinese firms that face U.S. government restrictions for alleged national security risks or IP theft.

The Trump family owns a stake in World Liberty Financial, which earns revenue from the use of those tokens. Experts warn about data security and monitoring risks associated with using Chinese AI models on the platform.
