Crypto Price Pause: Bitcoin Stalls at $77,893, Ethereum Faces Key Resistance
Bitcoin (BTC) has paused its recent gains after a massive rally in the past few weeks. It's currently trading at $77,893 on Monday, maintaining a bullish near-term bias as it holds well above the clustered Exponential Moving Averages (EMAs).
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is hovering just below overbought territory at 69, while the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) remains positive, indicating that upside momentum is still constructive but becoming stretched.
On the downside, initial demand appears around the 200-day EMA at $72,254, followed by the 50-day EMA at $69,681 and the 100-day EMA at $68,887. Below these levels, deeper support emerges at $66,500 and $62,300.
Ethereum (ETH), on the other hand, is facing selling pressure near its key resistance level of $2,500. It's currently trading at $2,421, holding a bullish near-term bias as price remains comfortably above the EMAs. The 50-day EMA at $2,101 and the 100-day EMA at $2,037 form a broad underlying demand zone that reinforces the constructive structure.
Ripple (XRP) has found support around its 200-day EMA key level, currently trading at $1.350. This means further downside for now is capped, but it's also testing the immediate resistance at $1.900 on the topside.
