Crypto Prices Flat Amid Soft Producer Price Inflation

Instruments

Cryptocurrency prices remained relatively stable on Thursday despite soft producer price inflation readings from the U.S. and declining global crude oil prices.

The decline in these key indicators failed to boost the crypto market, with overall capitalization decreasing by almost a quarter percent below the flatline.

BTC is currently trading near $63,768 after edging up above levels seen a day ago, while Ethereum has dropped 0.32% to $1,890.79, down from its all-time high of $4,953.73 recorded on August 25, 2025.

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported flat producer price inflation in July, versus -0.1 percent in June and market expectation of 0.2 percent. This has led to further toned-down rate hike expectations from the Federal Reserve, supporting crypto market sentiment.
