Crypto Prices Plummet as Bitcoin and Ethereum Slide
Cryptocurrency markets saw a broad decline in prices over the past day. Bitcoin fell by about 1.9% to $63,665 and Ethereum dropped 1.8% to $1,911. Several other major cryptocurrencies also suffered losses, with Shiba Inu plummeting by nearly 8%. However, not all tokens experienced declines, as a few showed minor gains.
Analyst Linda highlighted that Cardano's once-criticized features, including formal verification and proof-of-stake, are now being adopted by major blockchain networks. This trend suggests that market conditions and news are influencing investor sentiment, leading to potential volatility ahead.
Meanwhile, Clear Creek Financial Management revealed $15.1 million in crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) across Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana in its latest US regulatory filing. The firm's holdings primarily consisted of Bitcoin ETFs, with about $10.4 million invested in Bitwise's BITB fund.
