Crypto Stock Perpetual Futures Hit Record $665B Volume
Crypto stock perpetual futures trading volume on centralized exchanges reached $665.42 billion in August, according to data from WuBlockchain Data Center.
This represents a 4.6% increase from July and a whopping 56 times the January level.
SanDisk (SNDK) led the pack with $193.58 billion in perpetual volume for the month, followed by SK Hynix (SKHYNIX) at $75.89 billion, and SpaceX-linked SPCX contract with $65.93 billion.
The trio made up 50.4% of all volume, highlighting a concentration of demand among a handful of chip-related stocks.
