Crypto Surges as Institutional Buyers Return
Crypto markets have been stagnant for most of this year, but last week's 25% surge in Bitcoin and 30% jump in Ethereum indicate a potential turning point.
The price increase was driven by several factors, including the U.S. Treasury's decision to double its buybacks of long-term government bonds, which weakened the dollar and sent investors looking for alternative assets.
Institutional buyers also returned to the market, with Bitcoin ETFs attracting $1.9 billion in just five trading days and Ethereum ETFs bringing in an additional $697 million.
The CLARITY Act, a bill aimed at establishing clearer rules for digital assets, is gaining traction in Washington, which could provide a boost to the industry's growth.
