Crypto Trading Platforms Surge as Major Blockchain Networks See Declines
The crypto landscape has seen significant changes in user activity over the past month. According to CoinMarketCap data, Robinhood experienced a massive surge in weekly active users, climbing by 32.3% to reach 1.5 million. Uniswap followed closely with a 19.7% increase to 1.7 million users.
This growth stands in contrast to some established blockchain networks, which have seen their user bases decline. BNB Chain retained the top spot but experienced a 24.3% drop over the last 30 days, while its Layer-2 network, opBNB, saw a 26.3% decline.
Solana and Tron also had varying results, with Solana's user base increasing by 6.2% to reach 10.1 million weekly active users, but Tron experiencing a 10.5% contraction. Ethereum and Bitcoin both maintained significant user bases, but their activity levels remained relatively stable.
