Crypto Venues See $778 Billion Boom in Traditional Asset Trading
Crypto exchanges are becoming bigger venues for trading contracts tied to traditional assets. According to Fasanara Digital, contracts tied to mainstream assets made up 23.48% of perpetual-futures trading volume on major digital-asset platforms in August.
This represents a significant increase from November when such contracts accounted for just 0.5% of trading volume.
The rise in interest in traditional asset derivatives on crypto venues is adding fresh evidence that the worlds of digital assets and traditional markets are starting to merge.
